Mozambique, with its unique karoo formations and rift influenced geology, is emerging as a future potential source of thermal and coking coal.

Two distinct coal bearing sub basins have been identified: Moatize - Minjova basin and Zambezie basin around Tete

Rachana Has acquired a number of license is this geologically promising areas of Tete and Mutarara provinces, in northern part of the country.

Geologiacal Mapping and drilling is currently in progress in Changara district of Tete province. Three additional areas also have been identified. Total Potential resources in all these areas are believed to exceed 1 billion tones

Coal Mine
Rachana Global is a leading coal mining company providing coal internationally. There are two methods followed by us for mining coal, surface coal mining and underground coal mining. We produce quality coal from our sites in Tete and Mutarara provinces of Mozambique. Our aim is to provide thermal coal and coking coal globally by combined efforts of our experienced geologists, geotechnical engineers, mining engineers, coal technologists and surveyors involved in coal mining procedure.
