In the Nampula province in northern Mozambique, magnetic origin magnetic iron Ore deposits have been identified. Ore pockets are farmed at the contact between gabro and pyroxenitex. The Ore mineral is titanium-bearing magnetite.
Initial tests for upgrading the mineral has established the possibility of Producing concentrate of marketable grade through magnetic separation.
