Geology of Zambezi province in northern Mozambique is characterized by pegmatite and quartz veins in metamorphic rocks. Such pegmatite ave, at places, enriched in tantalite, in addition to precious stones like Tourmaline, beryl etc.
A selected area of pegmatite outcrops has been identified and explored in detail. Rock chip samples have shown tantalite values of economic viability
